Job Experience
Carey Peed has grown up in the construction business. After high school, he attended trade school focusing on diesel mechanics. He has been employed by Peed Bros. since1994. During those years, he climbed the ranks to his current position as project manager/supervisor. He is a valued employee and has earned the respect of engineers and construction colleagues with his knowledge. He has held the position of manager/supervisor on numerous large dirt moving projects as well as dam and landfill projects.
Carey has experience in all phases of construction such as grading, storm drain installation, dam construction, base and paving, landfill liner installation, and finishing work. He received his certification for fusion welding of HDPE pipe.
Carey is an experienced heavy equipment operator and holds a valid Georgia CDL. He holds a valid GSWCC Level 1A Certified Personnel card and has completed Competent Person Excavation training. He has training in OSHA Standard 29 CFR Part 1926 and is MSHA Certified. He is also a certified Utility Forman under the State of Georgia Utility Licensing Board
